I cannot express how deeply saddened and troubled I am by the events that occurred on the evening of 4/30/19. UNC Charlotte holds such a special place in my heart and when the news broke, my heart sank. Sending so much love, comfort, and thoughts of peace to the families of all of the victims. We will not be defined by this tragedy but instead, we will come together and show the nation why we are #ninerstrong.
